Terms of Service

Enough Cooks takes a recipe you provide, whether pasted text, a link, a photo or a PDF, and rewrites it into a clearer, kitchen-ready version. You're responsible for what you submit, and by submitting it you represent that you have the right to use it. You need to be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, and at least 13, to use Enough Cooks.

Enough Cooks is offered in the United States, for people in the United States. Prices are in US dollars, the app is in English, and these terms are written with US law in mind. We don't offer or market the service anywhere else. If you use it from outside the US anyway, that's your own choice, these terms still apply, and you're responsible for any local rules that apply to you.

Whatever you bring in stays yours, and we don't claim to own it. We only need your permission to store it, run it through the AI, show it back to you, and display it at any share link you create. Cook Plans made from your recipes are yours to use however you like, and to whatever extent we hold rights in them, we grant them to you.

Bringing content in — typing it, pasting it, photographing a page, uploading a PDF, adding a link, or emailing it to us — is you telling us you have the right to use that content and to share it with us this way. You're responsible for what you bring in. If it turns out you didn't have that right, that's between you and the rights holder, and we can remove the content as described below.

The app itself is ours: its design, the Enough Cooks name and logo, and the instructions and systems that turn a recipe into a Cook Plan. Using the service gives you no rights to any of that.

Every generated recipe gets a link, and anyone with the link can view it. Don't put anything in a recipe you wouldn't want someone else to see. Viewing doesn't need an account, so the link is the only way to reach a recipe: if you didn't save it to your library and you lose the link, we can't find it for you. We don't guarantee that a recipe, a plan, or a link to one stays available, so keep your own copy of anything you'd be sorry to lose.

Recipes, Cook Plans, week suggestions and grocery lists are generated by AI, and AI gets things wrong. It can misread a quantity, invent a step, or give a cooking time that isn't safe. Everything the app produces is a suggestion, not instructions from a professional, and you are responsible for what you cook and eat.

Check cooking times and anything food-safety related yourself, especially internal temperatures for meat, poultry and seafood, and check ingredients yourself if you cook for anyone with an allergy or a dietary restriction. When the recipe and your thermometer disagree, trust the thermometer.

You can use Enough Cooks without paying. A free account comes with a one-time allowance of the AI-powered features, which runs for the life of the account and does not reset. When it's used up the app says so and offers you a subscription, and nothing you already made is taken away. There are also caps on how much AI work one account can run in a day or an hour, on free and paid accounts alike, so a single account can't run up an unbounded bill; the app tells you when you hit one. We set all of these limits and can change or withdraw them at any time.

Enough Cooks Premium is $59.99 a year or $7.99 a month, in US dollars. You choose which at checkout and you're charged for the whole period up front. There is no free trial on a paid plan; the free allowance above is what you try the product with.

A subscription renews automatically. At the end of each period, a year for the yearly plan and a month for the monthly one, it renews at the price then in effect and charges the payment method you gave us, and it keeps doing that until you cancel. Subscriptions are bought on the website; the iPhone and Android apps can't sell them. If that changes, a subscription bought through Apple or Google is billed and managed by them under their rules, not these. Payments go through Stripe, card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page, and your use of that checkout is also subject to Stripe's terms.

You can cancel at any time, from the subscription page in the app or by emailing hello@enoughcooks.com from the address on your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal: Premium keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, and then the account goes back to free. Nothing you made is taken away.

We can change what Premium costs. A price change never affects a period you've already paid for; it applies from your next renewal onwards, at the price in effect then, and takes effect when it's posted here or on the upgrade screen.

Use Enough Cooks to cook. Don't use it to do these things:

• Collect recipes or Cook Plans in bulk, by scraping, crawling, automated access, or guessing at share links.
• Use what the service produces to build, train or stock a competing product, dataset or recipe catalog, or resell it as your own.
• Extract or reverse engineer the instructions and systems behind how a recipe becomes a Cook Plan.
• Work around usage limits, rate limits or paid tiers, including by spreading usage across several accounts.

We can suspend or close an account, and remove content, at any time and for any reason, including the above, content that infringes copyright or otherwise breaks the law, and no longer offering the service at all. If you believe a recipe here infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to hello@enoughcooks.com.

Enough Cooks is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't promise that the service will be available, uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that what the AI produces will be accurate or suitable, or that any particular feature will keep existing. We can add, change, pause or discontinue any part of the service at any time and without notice. Where we say "we can" in these terms, we mean at our discretion.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost data, lost profits, or a meal that didn't work out. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars. Some places don't allow limits like these; where that's true, this section applies only as far as it's allowed, and nothing here takes away a right you have that can't be waived.

We can update these terms. The current version is the one on this page, and a change takes effect when it's posted. Carrying on using Enough Cooks after that means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located there.
