Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Enough Cooks LLC (“we” or “us”). Our address is 4030 Wake Forest Road, STE 349, Raleigh, NC 27609. Our email is hello@enoughcooks.com.

The terms cover our website at enoughcooks.com, our iPhone and Android apps, and our emails. We call all of that “the service.”

By making an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. You also agree to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Enough Cooks helps you cook. You bring a recipe. Our AI turns it into a Cook Plan: what to prep, who does what, and when. You can also keep a recipe library, plan your week, and build a grocery list.

We offer the service in the United States only. Prices are in US dollars, and the service is in English. We don't offer or market it anywhere else. If you use it from outside the US, that's your choice, and these terms still apply.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Enough Cooks. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. They must also make any payment.

Children under 13 may not make an account.

You sign in with your email address and a code we email you. There are no passwords.

Keep your email account safe. Anyone who can read your email can get into your Enough Cooks account.

One account is for one person. Don't share it, sell it, or give it away.

Use a real email address that you check. We send sign-in codes, receipts and important notices there.

You are responsible for what happens in your account.

You own what you bring in. That includes recipes you type, paste, take a photo of, upload as a PDF, add as a link, share from another app, or email to recipes@enoughcooks.com.

To run the service, we need your permission to use that content. So you give us a limited licence. It lets us store it, copy it, change its format, and send it to the companies that help us run the service, like our AI providers. It also lets us show it to you and to the people you choose to share it with. The licence is free. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the copies our Privacy Policy says we keep.

Cook Plans, grocery lists and everything else the service makes for you are yours to use as you like. If we have any rights in them, we give those rights to you.

When you bring content in, you're telling us you have the right to use it this way. Don't bring in content you aren't allowed to use. If you didn't have the right, that's between you and the owner. We may remove the content.

Shared links. You can share a recipe or a Cook Plan with a link. Anyone who has the link and signs in can see it. They don't need to pay. So don't put anything in a recipe you wouldn't want other people to see.

Households. You can invite other people to share your kitchen. Everyone in a household shares one meal plan and one grocery list. Only invite people you trust.

Much of what you see is made by AI. That includes Cook Plans, rewritten recipes, timings, week suggestions, grocery lists and step pictures. AI gets things wrong. It can misread an amount, skip a step, make one up, or give a cooking time that isn't safe.

Treat everything the service makes as a suggestion. It is not advice from a chef, a doctor or a dietitian.

• Food safety. Make sure meat, poultry, seafood and eggs reach a safe inside temperature. Use a thermometer. If the plan and your thermometer disagree, trust the thermometer.
• Allergies. The service does not check for allergens. If you cook for anyone with a food allergy or a medical diet, read every ingredient yourself, including the labels on packages.
• Diets. If you tell us you're vegetarian or gluten-free, for example, the AI tries to respect that. It can still miss.
• Kitchen safety. Knives, heat and hot oil can hurt you. Kids should cook with an adult.
• Pictures. Step pictures are drawings that show the idea. They are not exact.

You decide what to cook, how to cook it, and who to cook for. You are responsible for what you cook, serve and eat.

You can use Enough Cooks for free, with limits. A free account gets a set amount of the AI features. It does not reset. When you reach it, the app tells you. Nothing you already made goes away.

There are also limits on how much AI work one account can do in an hour or a day, on free and paid accounts alike. When the whole service reaches its daily AI budget, AI features may pause until the next day. The app tells you when a limit stops you.

Founding cooks. People who join before our founding period ends get three free months of Premium, counted from the day they joined. The app shows the end date. We never charge a founding cook unless they choose to subscribe.

We can change the free limits at any time. We won't shorten founding months we've already promised.

Premium costs $59.99 a year or $7.99 a month, in US dollars. You choose one at checkout. We charge for the whole period up front. There is no free trial on a paid plan.

Premium renews automatically. At the end of each year or month, we charge the card you gave us for the next period, at the price in effect then. This keeps happening until you cancel.

Before a yearly plan renews, we email you a reminder.

You buy Premium on our website. Payments go through Stripe. You type your card number on Stripe's checkout page, not ours. Stripe's own terms also apply to that checkout.

The iPhone and Android apps don't sell subscriptions. If they ever do, Apple or Google will bill you, and their rules for cancelling and refunds will apply instead of ours.

You can cancel any time. On our website, go to Settings, then Subscription. Or email hello@enoughcooks.com from the address on your account.

Cancelling stops the next charge. Premium keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. Then your account goes back to free. You keep everything you made.

We may change what Premium costs. A change never affects a period you've already paid for. We'll email you before a new price applies to you. It starts at your next renewal after that email. If you don't want the new price, cancel before then.

Use Enough Cooks to cook and plan. Please don't:

• break the law, or use the service to harm or harass anyone, including through shared links or household invites;
• bring in content you don't have the right to use;
• copy recipes or Cook Plans in bulk, scrape the service, or guess at share links;
• use what the service makes to build or train a competing product or dataset, or resell it;
• try to pull out or copy the instructions and systems behind our AI, or take apart our apps;
• get around limits or paid plans, including by making extra accounts;
• overload the service, or probe it for security holes without asking us first (if you find one, please tell us);
• use bots to make accounts or send requests.

If you think something on Enough Cooks copies your work without permission, email hello@enoughcooks.com. Tell us what the work is and where it appears on Enough Cooks. Tell us how to reach you. Say that you believe in good faith the use isn't allowed, and that your notice is accurate. We remove content when that's the right call. We close the accounts of people who do it again and again.

The service is ours. That includes its design, its code, the Enough Cooks name and logo, Wink, and the systems that turn a recipe into a Cook Plan. These terms let you use the service. They don't give you any other rights to it.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we can use them freely. We don't owe you anything for them.

The service may link to other websites, stores or apps, like the page a recipe came from. We don't control them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

You can delete your account any time. Go to Settings, then Manage account. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.

We can suspend or close your account, or remove content, if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we need to protect people or the service. We can also stop offering the service.

Sections 6, 8, 15, and 18 to 21 still apply after your account ends.

We work hard on Enough Cooks. But we provide it “as is” and “as available.” As far as the law allows, we make no promises of any kind, written or implied. That includes promises that it will suit a purpose, be free of errors, always be available or be secure, or that the AI will be accurate. We can add, change, pause or remove features at any time.

As far as the law allows:

• We are not responsible for indirect, special or follow-on losses. That includes lost data, lost profits, or a meal that didn't turn out.
• Our total responsibility for any claim about the service is the greater of two amounts: what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.

Some states don't allow limits like these. Where that's true, they apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing here takes away a right that the law says you can't give up.

If you break these terms or the law, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from that claim.

If you have a problem, email us first at hello@enoughcooks.com. Most things can be fixed that way. Please give us 30 days to try.

North Carolina law governs these terms. Any lawsuit goes to the state or federal courts in North Carolina. Either of us can use small claims court instead, if the claim qualifies.

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change is important, we'll also email you or tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, stop using the service and delete your account.

• These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service.
• If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
• If we don't enforce a rule right away, we haven't given it up.
• You can't transfer your account or these terms to someone else. We can transfer them if the business changes hands.
• If you got our app from Apple's App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. They aren't responsible for the app or for supporting it. Apple may enforce these terms as they apply to the iPhone app.
